Full NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad Release
 
MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – Thirteen members of the 2024 Simmons field hockey team were amongst the 1,880 undergraduate student-athletes to be in named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad on Wednesday.
 
Seniors Sydney Gonyea, Emilia Elko, Hannah Groves and Alison Michalik all earned the honors for the fourth time in their career. They were joined by on the squad by Hailey Brisson, Samara Buck, Ellie Foss, Kaitlyn Frye, Nellie Long, Katy Paveglio, Piper Rickman, Ainslee Shrout and Lilly Taglieri.
 
Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher throughout the fall semester and have been nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
