WINTHROP, Mass. – As announced today by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), Simmons University Lacrosse standouts
Everett Garner and
Maria Turriza earned All-Conference Third Team honors for their performances during the 2026 season.
After starting all 15 games for the second consecutive year, Garner collected her first career All-Conference selection following a breakout sophomore campaign. The midfielder posted career-highs in goals (26), assists (11), and draw controls (82), while recording multi-goal performances in seven contests. Garner also matched a season-best four goals on three occasions against Lasell, Norwich, and Mitchell.
Turriza also garnered her first All-Conference honor after anchoring the Sharks' defensive unit throughout the season. The senior captain closed out her Simmons career with career-best marks in ground balls (39) and caused turnovers (30), while adding two goals and three assists offensively. In the regular-season finale, Turriza delivered one of the strongest performances of her career, totaling seven ground balls and six caused turnovers, both of which are career highs.
