GNAC RELEASE

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Simmons University Volleyball team has been selected sixth in the 2026 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Poll, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

The Sharks received 124 points in the poll, which was voted on by the league's head coaches. Defending GNAC Champion Lasell topped the poll with 190 points and eight first-place votes, followed by Emmanuel (177 points, five first-place votes) and Saint Joseph's College of Maine (163 points, one first-place vote).

Simmons opens the 2026 campaign on September 1 with a non-conference match-up at Brandeis in Waltham, Massachusetts.
