GNAC RELEASE

WINTHROP, Mass. – As announced by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), Simmons University Soccer was picked to finish 10th in the 2026 Preseason Coaches' Poll.

The Sharks received 63 points in the poll, finishing ahead of Colby-Sawyer, New England Col., Dean and Mitchell.

Rivier earned the top spot with 186 points and seven first-place votes, narrowly edging Emmanuel, who received seven first-place votes and 184 points. Rounding out the top three was Lasell who was tabbed third with 159 points.

Simmons opens the 2026 season at home on Tuesday, September 1, as they welcome the Blue of Wellesley to Daly Field.
